KMJM-FM St. Louis To Flip To Conservative Talk Monday

iHeartMedia will flip Adult RB Majic 104.9 KMJM-FM Columbia IL/St. Louis to Conservative Talk 104.9 The Patriot on Monday morning.

The new brand will feature former 97.1 FM Talk KFTK-FM morning host Jamie Allman from 5-9am. Allman hosted mornings at KFTK-FM until being fired in
April 2018 for tweets threatening violence at Parkland High School shooting survivor David Hogg. He briefly resurfaced in 2019 hosting mornings at
Salems 105.3 The Answer 1380 KXFN until its sale to Catholic operator Immaculate Heart Media later that year.

The full lineup for KMJM-FM is not yet known, but with the companys new
Clay Travis Buck Sexton not cleared in St. Louis, that show would be a
lock to fill the 11am-2pm timeslot. Premieres Sean Hannity and Coast to
Coast with George Noory currently air on KFTK-FM with Hannity in a delayed evening timeslot.

KMJM-FM will join a quickly crowding Conservative Talk market in St. Louis
as it joins KFTK-FM, CH Holdings Big 550 KTRS, EpicSTLs recently launched “NewsTalkSTL” 101.9 K270BW/99.1 KLJY-HD3, and Rick Tracy Ellis also newly launched Real Talk 93.3 on suburban signals 93.3 KRTK Hermann and 104.3
KVMO Vandalia MO.

iHeartMedia had promoted the Majic brand from a translator back to 104.9 in July 2020. The brand was on 107.7 from 1979 to 1997, 104.9 from 1997-2012, moved to 100.3 until 2014 and then was resurrected on the 103.7 translator
in May 2017. The station is running sweepers telling listeners the brand
will be shifted to KMJM-FMs HD2.

KMJM-FM rose from a 1.7 share to 2.3 in the just released July 2021 Nielsen Audio ratings. It continued to be far behind Audacys 96.3 The Lou WFUN-FMs
5.7 share.

FCC Report 8/15: Stolz' Palm Springs Translators Receive Notices Of
Violations

Ed Stolz Major Market Radio LLC has been issued Notices of Violation for
95.5 K238AK and 98.1 K251BX Palm Desert CA

Both translators were marked by the FCCs Enforcement Bureau for the
following violations:

Transmitting an un-modulated signal carrier and RDS information following
loss on audio programming.
Failing to properly identify the signal whether by audio or morse code.
Failing to update the FCCs records with the primary station and written
consent to rebroadcast said station.


At the time of the FCCs visit on May 25, 2021, both translators were listed
as rebroadcasting 97.7 KRCK-FM Mecca which was off the air as it went
through the process of being transferred by Receiver Larry Patrick to VCY America from Stolz Major Market Radio. Since the translators were not
carrying programming from KRCK-FM, they were legally required to either
cease operations or change originating stations. The signals previously operated as Conservative Talk 98.1 Talk Now fed via KRCK-HD2.


Clear Communications Inc. has won its Petition for Reconsideration and Reinstatement for its 2018 translator application in Vineland NJ.

Clear had applied for a translator on 106.5 in Vineland during the 2018 translator filing window to rebroadcast Spanish Tropical La Zeta 1270 WMIZ Vineland. Press Communications filed a Petition To Deny claiming it would
cause interference to Country Thunder 106 106.5 WTHJ Bass River Township. Following years of back and forth through the FCCs changes to the
translator interference rules, Clear sought to modify the application to operate on 92.9 with 100w/97m which was granted due to the FCCs nunc pro
tunc policy allowing curative amendments and arguing that denying the application would prohibit Clear from participating in the translator
filing window for AM Revitalization.


The FCC has issued a Notice of Apparent Violation and Forfeiture of $1500
to Radio By Graces 99.3 W257DF Atlanta for failing to timely file its
license renewal application. W257DF, which rebroadcasts Clark Atlanta Universitys Jazz 91.9 WCLK Atlanta, was due to file its license renewal by March 1, 2021 but did not do so until July 19 with no explanation provided.

Three more licensees have reached Consent Decrees with the FCC over the maintenance of their online political files.

Deletions

A week after taking 930 WHON Centerville/Richmond IN silent, Brewer Broadcasting has turned in the stations license. In its Silent STA Brewer stated that WHON was no longer economically viable and that its tower has already been dismantled. The Classic Hits 101.7 The Point programming that
had originated on WHON to feed 101.7 W269BP Richmond continues being fed by 96.1 WQLK-HD2 Richmond.
