Graeme Bentley Rises To WXRV Music Director

    Posted: 06 Aug 2021 12:56 PM PDT https://radioinsight.com/headlines/211461/graeme-bentley-rises-to-wxrv-music-director/

Northeast Broadcasting AAA 92.5 The River WXRV Andover/Boston MA has
announced the promotion of evening host Graeme Bentley to Music Director.

Bentley joined WXRV in 2018 as an intern and quickly rose from Street Team Captain to Promotions/Social Media Coordinator to Assistant Production
Director and weekend host to evenings. He fills the MD position that has
been vacant since Allison Conways exit last year. Conway has since joined Republic Records as a Promotion Coordinator.

WXRV/92.5 the River has promoted Graeme Bentley to Music Director of the
Triple A station. Bentley started at the River as an intern in 2018, and
was asked to join the street team soon after. Drawing from his experience
at the college station WUML in Lowell, his passion for the music, and determination to help in every department he could, moved him quickly up
the River ranks. Over the last three years, Bentley was promoted from
Street Team Captain, to Promotions and Social Media Coordinator. He also
became the Assistant Production Director, and was given a weekend DJ shift.
Now he can be heard on the air each Monday through Friday from 7 PM to midnight.

WXRV General manager Donald St. Sauveur knows Bentley’s love for radio runs deep, “Graeme represents the best of the past, present and future of radio broadcasters. He’s got radio in his DNA. He was a passionate River listener growing up, and his ‘can do’ attitude and incredible work ethic has taken him on an epic 3-year journey at the River. All of his duties and responsibilities helped WXRV grow immensely. It feels great to be able to reward Graeme with this promotion, so that his passion and love of music discovery can grow and will now be his day-to-day focus and contribution to
    the radio station.”

Longtime radio programming veteran Dennis Constantine has been working with Bentley during his transition into the new role, and added “Graeme blows me away with his knowledge of music. I love seeing young people who believe in radio and its future. He’s going to be a great music director.”

As for Bentley, he’s excited about this new role at the River, and is ready to dive in. “I’m almost at a loss for words. It means so much to be able to contribute to the station I’ve been listening to for so many years. It’s an honor, and I’m just taking it one song at a time…”.

    Majority Of NoogaRadio Staff Departs

    Posted: 06 Aug 2021 09:21 AM PDT https://radioinsight.com/headlines/211451/majority-of-noogaradio-staff-departs/

The majority of the staff at Conservative Talk NoogaRadio 92.7 W224AZ Chattanooga/WPLZ-HD4 Ooltewah TN have departed following a disagreement on
    the direction of the station.

General Manager Jen Lambert, Operations Manager Jason Kirk, Morning host
Jeff Styles, and General Sales Manager Michael Lisowski are all exiting the station today due to a conflict with operator Sabatino Cuppellis plans to
add more syndication and brokered shows to the station. In a release
Lambert stated, Unfortunately, after four years, a lot of blood, sweat and tears and a whole lot of love, the station ownership has chosen to take NoogaRadio in a direction that most of us feel we are unable to stand
behind. We are so grateful and proud to have been able to entertain you for
as long as we have and, as the general manager, I am able to move on with
my head held high knowing that I gave it my all. We genuinely hope we can
bring our relationship to an amicable end in the most professional manner leaving no burned bridges, hard feelings or severed business relationships. Thank you so much to all of our advertisers, supporters and, most of all,
to our devoted listeners, you will be missed. An additional staffer, Sports Director/host Keon Rose is also departing to relocate to Phoenix and
afternoon host Bryan Stone was let go by Cuppelli two weeks ago, while News Director Russell Stroud has yet to decide whether to remain.

Cuppelli told the Chattanooga Times Free Press, We will always use a mix of local and national and there will be very little buying time.
