For those that don’t know Bob, Bob Heil is a sound and radio engineer most well-known for creating the template for modern rock sound systems. He
founded the company Heil Sound in 1966, which went on to create unique
touring sound systems for bands such as The Grateful Dead, The Who and developed the Talk Box for Peter Frampton. Bob has been an innovator in the field of amateur radio, manufacturing microphones and satellite dishes for broadcasters and live sound engineers. He has won multiple awards and
honours, and in 2007 he became the first manufacturer to be invited to
exhibit at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

We look forward to Bob’s talk which has also been opened up to other local clubs.

For those that have not joined a Zoom meeting before, all they have to do
is to just click on the link above and they will be directed to download
Zoom. It will then connect them into our Zoom meeting. If they want to join
on audio only (no camera) that’s fine all we would ask is that when they connect, they identify themselves with a name and/or callsign.

Looking forward to seeing you there which should be a great evening.
