    ARRL renewal codes, still working?

    Posted: 12 Jul 2022 07:44 PM PDT https://www.reddit.com/r/amateurradio/comments/vxskbw/arrl_renewal_codes_still_working/

Like the title says, has anyone gotten any swag using the renewal or
joining coupon codes since the ARRL redesigned the site? Re-joined in May
using a code and so far havent gotten the book set yet. Was expecting
Grounding and Bonding, HF Digital 2nd ed, and Even more wire antenna
classics. Wanted the QST archive but the books would have been a nice perk! Checkout never gave any indication that the coupon code was not accepted.
Edit: Specifically the ECLM from https://www.reddit.com/r/amateurradio/comments/s1f8to/updated_arrl_membership_rewards_codes_2022/

Good podcasts/audiobook content to study for technician test?

    Posted: 12 Jul 2022 07:48 PM PDT https://www.reddit.com/r/amateurradio/comments/vxsmye/good_podcastsaudiobook_content_to_study_for/

My ADHD makes it hard to focus on reading a book for long periods of time,
let alone studying. I can listen to audio content all day though, and at
work. Does anyone have any recommendations for this? submitted by /u/hornedCapybara

    Anyone have a RigPi?

    Posted: 12 Jul 2022 07:19 AM PDT https://www.reddit.com/r/amateurradio/comments/vxccvc/anyone_have_a_rigpi/

Im interested in the idea of the MFJ-1234 RigPi server for remotely
operating my radios. I have a Kenwood TS-590SG and a TS-2000. Would like to hear from someone who has used one extensively.
EDIT: To clear things up ... I am not looking for a Raspberry Pi with a
bunch of disparate apps on it for ham radio. I am interested in an
appliance approach for controlling my radios remotely that just works, and
the marketing info around the MFJ device sounds good. Im just looking for someone whos really used it to firm up whether the thing meets
    expectations. submitted by /u/Prima13

How to correctly tune a Hygain 18VS for 20 meters?

    Posted: 12 Jul 2022 10:22 PM PDT https://www.reddit.com/r/amateurradio/comments/vxvckh/how_to_correctly_tune_a_hygain_18vs_for_20_meters/

    Hi all.
So I have my base set up for my Hygain 18VS antenna. Attached is a picture
    of my base:

Using no antenna tuner to test, it appears that I am getting a bit of a
signal. But have a very high swr so low power out, I know that it is not
    tuned correctly.

Please forgive me, I am new to this antenna. I attached the PL259 connector
via this youtube video here as the instructions included with the antenna
    are a bit cryptic:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sUXZh5g1lzs

I am wondering what is the best coil position for 20 meters on this coil?
Does anyone have this antenna? Thanks and 73. submitted by /u/wassup2190

    icom ID5100A replacement parts, casing

    Posted: 12 Jul 2022 09:01 PM PDT https://www.reddit.com/r/amateurradio/comments/vxtzpj/icom_id5100a_replacement_parts_casing/

I have an ID5100A that needs a new case, mine encountered some acid from a
bad lead acid cell. The left hand side is completely rusted and destroyed beyond repair.
Trying to find a source for a replacement top and bottom case shell.
