    For immediate release:

    RAC President Phil A. McBride, VA3QR, is currently attending the annua
    l Board of Directors meeting of the American Radio Relay League (ARRL (htt p://www.arrl.org/home) ) in Windsor, Connecticut.

    The ARRL Board Meetings are held twice each year, in January and July,
    and RAC President Phil McBride, VA3QR, and International Amateur Radi
    o Union (IARU (https://www.iaru.org/) ) President Tim Ellam, VE6SH, ar
    e attending the meeting as guests of the Board.

    At the meeting the ARRL Directors nominate and elect a President, a Firs
    t Vice President, a Second Vice President, an International Affairs Vi
    ce President, a Secretary, a Treasurer, a Chief Executive Officer an
    d a Chief Financial Officer as officers who serve on the Board of Director
    s.

    This was the first ARRL Board Meeting attended by RAC President Phil McBri
    de, VA3QR, after becoming the new RAC President in January 2022 and he
    extended greetings and best wishes from RAC.
