I am French and I use google to translate because I do not understand
English
I am going to buy a grip-dip /dipmeter but there is something I would
like to clarify
On an unconnected antenna with a choke how can we measure its resonant frequency?
Is it just approaching the choke dip grip or is it necessary to feed
the antenna with a signal?
if so what type of signal?
thanks for your advices

At the antenna connector or coax feedline make a coil of about 5 turns
and connect it to the antenna connector and grid dip that.

Okay Ralph
I will apply your solution later I think to use a nanovna
73' from Paris
Bernard
The nanovna is much better. You can sweep a large gange and either use
the SWR or the return loss function.
