Help me find this club a mentor

At last weekend’s QSO Today Virtual Ham Expo, I spoke with a woman from Syracuse, NY, who had just started a nonprofit. One of her goals is to
start a CERT team in Syracuse, and recognizing that amateur radio would be
a valuable asset to the CERT team, she and four others obtained amateur
radio licenses. She also noted that she had a group of young girls who also
are interested in getting licenses. Like most new hams, however, they need
    some mentoring.

So, now, Im looking for someone to help get this club going. ARDC, my new employer, can probably help them financially. but they’re really not even
at the point where they know what to ask for. They need a mentor that can advise them on what kind of radios to purchase, how to learn radio communications techniques, and what activities that they might pursue.

Please pass the word around. I have emailed the ARRL WNY section manager
and the Atlantic Division director, and Im hoping to hear back from them
soon. But, if any of you might be interested, or would like more
information, please get in touch with me, and we can discuss this further.
I think this could be a good opportunity for not only building a community resource, but increasing the diversity of amateur radio as well.
