A very successful meeting saw twenty members present even though several members sent apologies.
Our thanks to all.
In addition to the appointment of the new committee (see below) it was a
very special evening as John Mason G7PBV handed over the Chair to Mel Nutt M0RNU.In recognition of seventeen years as Club Chair John was awarded
‘Life Vice President’ which includes free membership.


He was presented by Mel with a Certificate and Plaque recognizing this. The members also gave a card and a cash gift with their thanks. John will
continue in the club as RSGB/Ofcom course instructor, which we greatly appreciate.
