    Replacement of nanoVNA TFT screen

    Posted: 23 Apr 2021 01:47 AM PDT https://on7ir.blogspot.com/2021/04/replacement-of-nanovna-tft-screen.html

The ordered 2.8" TFT module has arrived and I immediately tested it on the nanoVNA which was disassembled a while ago and was waiting in a corner of
    the shack.
    brand new :-)
A quick check shows that the new screen works perfectly. No annoying
    unwanted lines anymore.
    A quick check
I could not find a TFT screen without a SDcard interface. I had to remove
that connector because otherwise the LiPo battery does not fit between TFT
and mainboard, partly because of the height of the green capacitor near the
    3 switches.

The SDcard connector at the left side on this picture should be removed.

But it is not a hard job to remove. So after desoldering the SDcard
interface and cleaning the pcb it looks like this:SDcard connector removed
    and pcb cleaned
And now mainboard and TFT fit together as should be:LiPo battery fits well between the boards

Then the assembly was done after the screen protectionsheet had been
    removed.
    And voila, like new:Working!
