  • Hello hope all is well and safe and the new years is the best.

    Purchased a SAT800 a few years ago love the radio but looking for some help.It seams the whip works well with no issuse,however when i connect an external antenna and slide the switch over on the back i get no reception at all.Tried a couple differnt
    antennas connecting to the so239 and the twin lead, still nothing. Both were wire antennas, any suggestions on what i can try?? In advance thank you all for your time and effort.

    Happy new year to you too.

    We here at Grundig love to offer good service, even after the sale. I
    ran your question by the by the support department and the only thing
    they could come up with, and I would have to agree, Someone gave you
    the radio or you stole it from someone. You're just too God Damn fucking
    stupid to buy a radio like that on your own. We suggest you put the
    radio up for sale on eBay and get a C.B. radio.
