Here are the clues and interpretations for ASCWC 265. Please correct any misinterpretations.

    Luciano
    Jimmy repeatedly said, "Outstanding!" (5)
PRIES(multiple jimmies) said; def = outstanding

    Luciano
Zipper's undone; pee runs out into cup (5)
ZIPPER* minus P(pee); def = cup (as in championship cup)

    Duke
Perhaps Booker's committee's ending after publicity leads to inappropriate zeal (5)
E(committeE’s ending) after [PR(publicity) + Inappropriate Zeal]; def = perhaps Booker, referring to the Booker Prize

    Luciano
FDA initially rejected Pfizer supply as answer to current challenge (5)
F(FDA initially) rejected [from] PFIZER* (“supply” read as in pliably); def = answer to current challenge

    Duke
Poodle is starting to get up, by the sound of it, and champs reward? (5) P(Poodle is starting) + RIZE (homophone of RISE, to get up); def = champs reward

Here are the results for ASCWC 265.

    Luciano
    Jimmy repeatedly said, "Outstanding!" (5)
PRIES(multiple jimmies) said; def = outstanding
MI: Good switch on jimmy. How it’s made plural is kind of awkward. The homophone works.

    Luciano
Zipper's undone; pee runs out into cup (5)
ZIPPER* minus P(pee); def = cup (as in championship cup)
MI: Deletion after anagram is not cryptically ideal. Perhaps ‘in’ would be better than ‘into’. Nevertheless the striking disquieting surface makes this the winner.

    Duke
Perhaps Booker's committee's ending after publicity leads to inappropriate zeal (5)
E(committeE’s ending) after [PR(publicity) + Inappropriate Zeal]; def = perhaps Booker, referring to the Booker Prize
MI: Good cryptic assembly and fair definition. I’m trying not to picture this inappropriate zeal. Runner-up.

    Luciano
FDA initially rejected Pfizer supply as answer to current challenge (5)
F(FDA initially) rejected [from] PFIZER* (“supply” read as in pliably); def = answer to current challenge
MI: Cryptically, ‘rejected from’ would be better. I love the devilish use of ‘supply’ as an anagram indicator. The definition is too general; it could be used for any contest here.

    Duke
Poodle is starting to get up, by the sound of it, and champs reward? (5) P(Poodle is starting) + RIZE (homophone of RISE, to get up); def = champs reward
MI: Homophone non-word answer segment (RIZE) is not cryptically ideal. Consistent canine surface.

Alas it seems these contests here are on a death march. Over to Luciano to drive ASCWC one lap further.
