Hi all
As a newcomer to the dark arts of the darkroom (I'm doing a City & Guilds course which has introduced me to B&W developing and printing) I am setting up a small darkroom in my study.
I have been offered a Phillips PCS 2000 enlarger in full working order along with loads of other darkroom equipment and consumables. The asking price is £70.
My questions are, is this a good enlarger? is it suitable for a beginner
like myself? and what, if any, are the downsides of this enlarger.
Thanks for any help you can give me.
Regards
Steve Loveridge
Hey Stomper, did you get this enlarger? I have one and am wondering
what to ask for it. I bought it years ago before the digital
revolution and never used it. It's been in storage all this time.
Any suggestions on what to ask? Kevin Herrin

Er...the message you are replying to is over 14 years old. I'm
not sure the poster is still checking the group, but maybe!
