Indeed. But how little coverage is given to the CAUSE of these
events. The propping up of regimes in the middle east (including
Israel) has enraged a fair proportion of the Arab & Persian
population.

We'll never know, but it might have been better leaving Vietnam to the commies and Afghanistan to the Russians. Better they were bogged down than the U.S.
