Buffy is doing fine and seems to be adapting to my going to work. I'm
adapting to it, too. :) My boss is a very nice guy. His wife pops into
the office from time to time. She also works, not for the same company,
but she has a spot in the office where she can plug in her laptop and
get on a Zoom call or whatever.

They moved down here from Connecticut last September. Are in the
process of renovating the house they bought. They just got their two college-age kids off on their own. Empty nesters in a new town in South Carolina during a pandemic. They're very nice people. It's a very
pleasant place to work. That's extremely important.

Buffy hears me when I come home from work. She hears when the garage
door goes up. Gets ready to greet me by stretching, meowing "hello"
then falling over so I can give her scritches along her back while she continues to stretch. Then, of course, she wants and gets more
crunchies/dry kibble. A bit of play time, then it's time for me to
decompress and also have a bite to eat. :)

I'm so glad you still like your job and your boss. you're so right how important it is. Buffy's welcome home sounds really lovely. I used to love being greeted by Sweep then later Sophie when I got back from work. Sootie didn't and still doesn't greet us when we get home. She greets us when we
open a door for her or go to her, or she meets us as we move about.
