Hi -
I am seriously thinking of buying a conure. I have one question that
my conure books don't seem to address - are they okay to be in the
same room (not the same cage) as budgies? I have 6 budgies right now,
and I wondered if they can live peacefully with each other. When they
have play time, is it okay for the conure to play outside the cage
with budgies? They close to the same size (okay, okay, long wise, a
conure is more 'chunky'.) Or, should I have play time with each
species out at a time. (I have 6 budgies, 2 tiels, and 1 pious.) I am
not so concerened with the tiels and pious because they are in a
different bird room. Any suggestions are appreciated.
Regards,
Bentley
P.S. Exactly how loud are conures? I live on a horse farm way out so I don't have to worry about noise. I just wondered how loud they really
are.
You don't seem to even know what a conure is.
How loud are they? It depends on species, individual personality, and envirnment. They range from practically mute to ear piercing scream machines.
