• Hopping in the time machine - a pre-trip report

From Technobarbarian@21:1/5 to All on Tue Jun 6 18:58:37 2023
We're going to hop in the time machine tomorrow and make another attempt to go over 300 hundred miles and at least a hundred years in time. Last year our trip the Malheur National Wildlife Reserve was interrupted by the Covid virus. We've been
    planning this trip since then.

If things go as as planned we'll also make it to the Sumpter Gold Dredge and other exotic destinations out in the wilds of Eastern Oregon.

Allegedly literally lots of birds. Wear a hat and keep your mouth
    closed when you look up.

Sounds like fun! Looking forward to hearing how it went.

Our new trailer (Lance 1475, used once only) has been at the
dealer to fix a non-sliding slideout. It's been there over two
months and I still can't get even a date when it might be fixed.
    Grrr.

As I usually do, I deleted quickly The Artful Dodger's OP. However, I
hope he enjoys the travel and destination. FHI (For his information), I
will be traveling up the west coast headed to Washington some time in
August. I'll be throwing empty Lone Star beer bottles out the window as
soon as I hit the Oregon border.
