Oregon ranks number 5 for states whose economy is thriving. We're
behind: New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Washington and California.

Perhaps you can help. In this link I don’t see Oregon listed in the top or bottom fifteen (or five). I see the top five as Florida (of course), North Dakota, Utah, Nebraska and Minnesota. Minnesota being the outlier here. The others all have republican governors.

This is the article I actually read, because the Yahoo article
referred to it as their source.

    https://www.gobankingrates.com/money/economy/states-economies-failing-vs-states-economies-thriving/

    "5. Oregon
    March 2022 unemployment rate: 3.8%
    Year-over-year change in unemployment Feb. 2021: 4.5%
    Q4 2021 GDP per capita: $65,806
    GDP growth Q3 2021-Q4 2021: 9.8%
Average weekly wages Sept. 2020: $1,220
Percent change in average weekly wages Sept. 2020-Sept. 2021: 9.6%
Percent of population below poverty line 2020: 8.8%"

If you look closely that article was based on information
collected in March. The Yahoo article refers to information collected by
    the same source in October.
