"Shroom House in NW Portland raided for selling psilocybin; police make arrests"

"Portland police on Thursday morning raided a West Burnside storefront
that has been openly – and illegally – selling magic mushrooms.

Over the past week, after several local news outlets – including The Oregonian/OregonLive – published stories about Shroom House, lines have stretched down the block at Northwest 16th Avenue and Burnside, with Portlanders eager to stock up on psilocybin products.

    But the magic proved short-lived."

Their business had been slow until the local media started
reporting the story. I end up wondering what in the world anyone working
there was thinking. I also wonder if they'll be able to collect
    unemployment checks.

If they get depressed from check deprivation, they can just eat some psiloshrooms.

I doubt "shrooming" would be very amusing, getting dogged into a godawful legal mess, compounded by future visions of polishing some jail bench up with one's pants seat?

Portland should be thankful for such push over perps! At least, they're not shooting up power stations... I'd enjoy being one of the storm troopers pinching such an operation.... I suspect being a Fascist could be fun, so long as you were one of
them with all the juice? HawHawHaw!

Shiteatin'dawg! Some of those entitled folks just figure they can do anything the please, don't they? I have a young friend doing seven years in the Fed's pokey, just because he felt the same way as the "Shroom House"... It's just almost like he's an
old time Christian, in the lion's den, with less remorse for his actions....

I don't know what makes less sense: the prohibition, selling or
buying. If someone wants to be an evangelical they should teach classes.
We have "magic" mushrooms all over the place around here. In warm
weather you should have even more there. The most dense patch of magic mushrooms I've ever seen was on public property in the middle of
Portland. Heck, it was on a bus line and wheelchair accessible. Because
someone has used manure in my backyard I get Liberty Caps there.
