• #45 Brings Roadshow to Ohio, Trashes America

"IF YOU ASK the former president, America is in ruins. “We no longer
have a border. Our country is being invaded. It’s an invasion by
millions of illegal aliens,” Donald Trump said at his Saturday night
rally, using the Great Replacement Theory’s racist “invasion” language, favored by violent white nationalists. “The economy is crashing. Your
401(k) is collapsing,” Trump told the crowd. “Shooting, stabbings,
    rapes, carjackings are skyrocketing.”"

"Cult Vibes: Trump Ends Rally In Bizarre Fashion, Leaving Crowd Mesmerized

Members of the crowd raised their hands in a weird salute to the former president"

"AT THE END of Saturday night’s Trump rally, something strange (well,
more strange than usual) happened. As the former president delivered the eight-minute monologue that concluded his speech, dramatic strings music
began to play in the background and a portion of the mesmerized crowd
raised their hands with their pointer fingers extended in an odd salute.

The song has not been definitively identified, although some — including
The Daily Beast’s Will Sommer — said it is titled “WWG1WGA” after the QAnon slogan, “Where we go one, we go all,” and is affiliated with the movement. The New York Times’ Maggie Haberman speculated Trump may have
used a song titled “Mirrors” by film and TV composer Will Van De
Crommer. But, as a music professor who analyzed “Mirrors” after Trump
used it in a video told Vice in August, the two songs are “identical.”" [snip]

"Former President Donald Trump gave a rambling speech in Youngstown,
Ohio, on Saturday to stump for J.D. Vance. But the Jim Jones-type rally
was more about himself, and he mocked Vance several times.

"Yeah, he said some bad things about me, that was before he knew me, and
then he fell in love," Trump said.

"Remember, I said that about Kim Jong-un, he fell in love, and they said
Trump is saying he fell in love – actually, he did if you want to know
    the truth," he added.

Trump, of course, aired his grievances, bringing up the ongoing
investigations, including the seizure of classified documents from his Mar-a-Lago resort. Naturally, Trump brought up the "Washington swamp"
and "the unprecedented weaponization of the Justice Department."

"The people behind these savage witch hunts have no shame or morals, no conscience, and absolutely no respect for the citizens of our country."
He claimed it was an "unhinged persecution of me and my staff" that he
    called "political repression."

"I hope you're going to do something about it, J.D.," Trump repeatedly
told the crowd throughout the rally.

And then he bizarrely brought up the "pee tape," which has nothing to do
with the candidate he was there to support.

"How would you like to be me and go home and explain that one to my
wife? 'Darling, it wasn't true, I swear it wasn't!'" he said."
    [snip]

lol, Yeah, that must have been a fun conversation. For once in
his life he might have been telling the truth, but he tells so many lies
that not even his wife was likely to believe him.
