White House says it's 'surging' resources to Texas to address migrant
    influx but offers no details

WASHINGTON – The Biden administration says it is "surging" resources
to El Paso, where migrants with nowhere else to go are sleeping in the
streets while they scrape together bus money or await immigration
    proceedings.

Pressed to say what the administration is doing to help migrants, with homeless shelters mostly overwhelmed in Texas' sixth-largest city, the
White House did not elaborate and deferred to the Department of
Homeland Security, which did not respond to request for comment.

"They've been surging resources to the region and working to quickly decompress the area," White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre
    said Friday.

Migrants not immediately expelled are screened and processed to have
their asylum claims heard by immigration judges in removal
    proceedings, Jean-Pierre said.

Humanitarian crisis:El Paso weighs options as migrants, many from
    Venezuela, overwhelm shelters

But with an influx of migrants, many from Venezuela, arriving at the U.S.-Mexico border, local authorities and homeless shelters have
largely struggled to keep up. As of Wednesday, U.S. Border Patrol had
released 1,166 migrants into the streets in eight days.
Venezuelan migrants were sat down in rows by U.S. Customs and Border Protection as hundreds were being held in an area underneath the Loop
375 overpass on the embankment of the Rio Grande on Tuesday, Sept. 13,
    2022.

Under questioning about the administration's plans to address the
migrant surge, Jean-Pierre touted a designation known as Temporary
Protective Status, which allows Venezuelan refugees who arrived in the
country early last year to live and work in the United States.

Follow the flight:Florida Gov. DeSantis flew 50 migrants from Texas to Martha's Vineyard

"That's why we have TPS," Jean-Pierre said.

But only Venezuelans who entered the U.S. prior to March 8, 2021, can
access those resources, meaning migrants arriving at the southern
    border now are not eligible.

Jean-Pierre said Friday that it is for DHS to decide how to handle
future TPS designations: "We are doing all the work that we can at the
border at this moment to address what we're seeing." ----------------------------------------- https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2022/09/16/white-house-texas-migrant-influx/10399907002/

The migrants’ attorneys said that their clients were not aware that they
were being taken to Martha’s Vineyard specifically.

They were induced to board the planes with “representations of work assistance and immigration relief in Boston,” the attorneys said in a
    news release.

DeSantis has pushed back on claims that the migrants did not know where
they were going, because he said they had signed a waiver and had been
provided with a packet including a map of Martha’s Vineyard adding,
“It’s obvious that’s where they were going,” and it was all “voluntary.”

US Attorney for Massachusetts Rachael Rollins told reporters Thursday
she would be speaking with members of the Department of Justice about DeSantis’ actions, saying she did not yet have enough information to say whether he broke any laws in sending the migrants to Martha’s Vineyard.
She added that their first priority is making sure the people who
    arrived were treated respectfully.

If we were serious about slowing down all them wets, all we'd have to do is create a "No Man's Land", for a couple of thousand miles along the Southern Border, festooned with land mines, and ring the points of entry, with execution squads, to mow
down the invaders, should they try to squeeze in on those "Pearly Gates"... That would nip that border problem, right in the bud!

Only on the Southern Border should this be done! Of course, we wouldn't treat our northern neighbors that way! Nosir! They're nice polite white folks, with a few dollars to spend in our Fatherland....

They also don’t try to cross the border in droves, wave the Canadian flag, rape other border crossers and hold out their hands for entitlement money
from Uncle Sugar… among other things. Just when I think you can’t sink any farther below the zero IQ level, you prove me wrong.
