I think Commiefornia ought to ship a boxcar full of their wets down to Eastman, GA. They'd probably get lots of volunteers, who'd rather go to Eastman, than sit in a Migra pound... I bet they'd work cheap, too! HawHawHaw!

What did YKW ever do for Georgia, besides asking for only 11,780 more votes in 2020, and telling "Brad" to do the right thing?

I haven't seen anything new being started since Biden came on the job.

Damfino. I'm having similar problems with Springer Mountain chickens,
Colson's Catch salmon, Pibb, Ben's rice, my chosen toothpaste, some of
my other preferred beers, and some more things, and some particular
stuff that the wife prefers - like Tetley Green tea and a particular

However comma I'll get by as long as Kraken doesn't become excessively

don't have a Kraken to sip on while creating my masterpieces.

What did YKW ever do for Georgia,  besides asking for
    only 11,780
more votes in 2020,  and telling "Brad" to do the right
    thing?

I don't know if YKW had anything to do with it, but we got some
new bridges and some resurfacing and a dirt road paved right
around here. I haven't seen anything new being started since
Biden came on the job. Can't speak for the rest of GA. And my
beef tenderloin was half the price it is now, and I didn't have
to drive 40 miles to get it.

You don't butcher your own damn beef any more? And you're blaming
    President Biden? HawHawHaw!

sigh. We're getting old, we stopped butchering about 3 years ago,
and I started buying filet at Harvey's. Shortly after Bidenflation
hit, the price doubled, the local Harvey's stopped selling filet,
and I started taking periodic Grocery Road Trips to find it.

Damn! what is it with you and your chosen products? First you drank
Red Dog and that disappeared and now you're having trouble finding
your filet? Are you feeling picked on? Are you simply choosing the
wrong products to enjoy? Perhaps it's dead 'possum karma?

Damfino. I'm having similar problems with Springer Mountain
chickens, Colson's Catch salmon, Pibb, Ben's rice, my chosen
toothpaste, some of my other preferred beers, and some more things,
and some particular stuff that the wife prefers -  like Tetley
Green tea and a particular shampoo. Maybe we're just leading edge
trendsetters/influencers. However comma I'll get by as long as
Kraken doesn't become excessively popular or unpopular. Grilling
will become much less satisfying if I don't have a Kraken to sip on

I do most of our grocery shopping. I can confirm that the specific flavors of canned cat food my wife likes to give our spoiled darling for
an evening snack are frequently not available. The poor dears have to
settle for some of the other hundreds of flavors that are available. Dry
food hasn't been a problem since the panic buying at the start of the
    pandemic.

Some of these temporary shortages are a result of the grocery
stores not being able to hire enough workers at the prices they want to
pay. The store might have whatever it is in the backroom, but they
didn't have all the manpower they needed to get it out on display. Many
stores also limit what they put on display when they're getting ready
for an inventory. This can easily disrupt a store for a month or more.

And the chances are that your favorite items are also many other
    people's favorites.

    131.7/131.8… whatever works.

I can live with that. I don't have a scientifically calibrated
lab-grade meat thermometer, so I'm running on Walmart cult faith
anyway. And even if it were lab-grade, it would probably evolve in the
passage of time, and at the end of the day going forward, I'd have to
reorient and recalculate my metrics from one grilling to the next.
Meanwhile, I'll just enjoy listening to the hawks whilst sipping my
Kraken, grilling my imported steaks (imported from 47.4 miles to the
northwest of here), and keep reminding myself that perfect is the
    enemy of good enough.
