I know that many and probably all the jails here and elsewhere
have a small blank space on a standard form for "attitude". Instead of "defiant" you're probably better off with something like "cooperative".
Most places have figured out ways to deal with defiant. It probably
won't be something the average person would enjoy.

The term for that "special place" for dealing with incorrigible inmates is, "Administrative Segregation", commonly called, "The Hole", the "Bucket", and "The Pound"... I used to be the Sergeant, of such accommodations, @ Avenal State Prison....
