"... the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be
    infringed."

This was not written by a group of men upon returning from a hunting
trip, or a day at the range - it was written by a group of men who had
helped secure our independence from a tyrannical government by force of
arms. And understood that it might be necessary for the people to do it
again in the future. And, the SC understands why it was written, and
    what is at stake.

    Ditto.
I push-mowed the grass and picked and shelled some peas today - heat
index 100. Now, you can do that most anywhere, but only in America can
you have a made-in-the-USA pea sheller and an air conditioner when
you're finished. (i admit to a spot of hyperbole there)

    I also re-realized that without a pea sheller and air-conditioner, I
would have never planted peas to begin with. I'd also sell my push
mower and start using the rider. I'm 80, but when I finished, I felt
like 90. The age index is a bitch in the summertime in GA.

Robert E. Crimo III sure took advantage of his 2nd Amendment Rights, today, didn't he?

Not surprisingly, Opie came diving into the thread like a drunken
Kamikaze pilot with a serious inner ear infection and splashed down way
off course and totally missed the target - assuming he had one - and
failed to make a cogent point. However, that's nothing new. HawHawHaw

This national celebration of our hard-won freedom was secured for you by colonists using weapons of war against the government. The first shot at Lexington and Concord was made possible by the first (failed) attempt to confiscate guns in America. Happy Independence Day, or for you Opie
    Happy July 4th.

And don't forget the orange goon who tried everything he could think of
