Yeah, it's been all of two weeks since our last little RV
adventure, instead of our usual just about every other week. We've been getting ready for my wife's vacation. I posted about our last Kilchis
River County Campground trip. It was pretty sweet, even though we didn't catch any trout. I've just about finished packing for or next wild and
not so wild adventure in Central Oregon. Did you know there are places
out there that are the most thinly populated areas in the lower 48? They
have a lot of cows out there, and some real cowgirls and boys. We have
some huge ranches. There's one of them out there that's 50 miles on one
side. We'll be seeing beautiful wonders like where the Metolius river silently glides out from somewhere under ground, and lava tubes, and volcanos, and cinder buttes, and the lava cast forest and lave fields.
Lots of lava. Bend Oregon is built on "low shield volcano". If
everything goes according to plan we'll see the painted hills and the
Malhuer Wildlife Refuge, among other things.
In case you missed it I've been posting about our trips. I haven't seen any post from you about much of anything for a long time. Where
have you been lately?
I have also been posting extensively about the goings on in Oregon, including our drug program. That has been in the last few days so it
should be easy for even you to find it if you're really interested.
