The President of the United States could not get from the White
House to the Capitol Building. That's an amazing thing to say in
America. Depending on which way you go it's only about 2 miles from one
to the other. And the sitting President could not get from the White
House to the Capitol Building because of a riot that he organized and
started. He wanted to go there. He told the rioters he'd be right there
with them. When you're staging a coup you really ought to be there to
encourage the troops and declare victory at the earliest opportunity. He
missed the photo op of the CENTURY! I can just imagine how that would
have looked with the orange idiot standing there next to the Qanon Shaman.

Well he certainly could have gotten there if he had walked or
maybe by golf cart. BUT, I don't think there was any way he was going to
the Capitol at that time unless he could ride there in an armored car. LOL

with the agent’s congressional testimony. Engel rode with Trump in the presidential armored car called “The Beast” back to the White House

on the topic. Engel noted that they went back to the White House instead

The testimony shows just how much Trump wanted to be at the Capitol with
his backers as Congress voted to certify his Electoral College loss to
Joe Biden. And he expressed his desire to join the protesters even as
