• My favorite part of the circus.

From Technobarbarian@21:1/5 to All on Fri Jun 10 20:33:33 2022
These days I'm like a kid who has given up on trying to keep track
of the entire multi-ring circus. I'm just watching for little gems. I'm enjoying this story arc because I think it answered one of my little
questions. The media is saying the orange idiot threw Ivanka under the
bus. I think it's more like he has recognized that she stepped off the
crazy train. She says it happened when Barr told her there was no stolen election. The idiot says she checked out before the 6th.

"'Mar-a-Lago was not a happy place': Conservative says Trump threw
Ivanka under the bus after testimony"

"Ivanka Trump's testimony appears to have triggered an emotional
    outburst from her father.

Former president Donald Trump attacked his former attorney general
William Barr and apparently took a swipe at his eldest daughter, as
well, wrote The Bulwark columnist Charlie Sykes, after their video
testimony was shown during the first public hearing of the House select committee.

"Mar-a-Lago was not a happy place last night," Sykes wrote. Trump seemed especially triggered by Bill Barr’s testimony, and lashed out on his 'TruthSocial' platform."

"Bill Barr was a weak and frightened Attorney General who was always
being 'played' and threatened by the Democrats and was scared stiff of
being Impeached," Trump posted on his Truth Social account. "How do you
not get impeached? Do nothing, or say nothing, especially about the
obviously RIGGED & STOLEN Election or, to put it another way, THE CRIME
OF THE CENTURY! The Democrats hit pay dirt with Barr, he was stupid, ridiculously said there was no problem with the Election, & they left
him alone. It worked for him, but not for our Country!"

The former president then threw Ivanka Trump under the bus, according to
    Sykes.

"Ivanka Trump was not involved in looking at, or studying, Election
results," Trump posted. "She had long since checked out and was, in my
opinion, only trying to be respectful to Bill Barr and his position as
    Attorney General (he sucked!)"

Trump and his Republican allies are trying to delegitimize the committee
rather than refute its findings, but Sykes said the House minority
leader had failed miserably by refusing to take part in the investigation.

"Kevin McCarthy is a dolt," Sykes wrote. "The refusal of the Trump/GOP
to participate in the committee meant that they were shut out of last
night’s hearing. They had a chance to make their case, but chose instead
to sulk. As last night’s evidence unfolded, that decision looked more
and more like an act of supreme political malpractice."

The special committee sought to persuade a divided country of the
existence of a deep-rooted and ongoing plot -- orchestrated by the
former president -- to overturn the result of the 2020 election won by
    Joe Biden.

"President Trump summoned the mob, assembled the mob and lit the flame
of this attack," the Republican vice chair of the panel, Liz Cheney,
said in her opening remarks at the first in a series of hotly
    anticipated summer hearings.

Minutes earlier, Democratic committee chief Bennie Thompson accused
Trump of being "at the center of this conspiracy."

"January 6 was the culmination of an attempted coup -- a brazen attempt,
as one rioter put it shortly after January 6 -- to overthrow the
government. The violence was no accident."

Hmmmmm, all that talk about only hiring the best appears to have
been yet more BULLSHIT. Big surprise. And Ivanka was still there right
in the middle of it on the 6th,

"The House panel investigating the Jan. 6 riot has testimony that then-President Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump asked him to
intervene as his supporters ransacked the U.S. Capitol, Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., said Sunday.

"The committee has firsthand testimony now that he was sitting in the
dining room next to the Oval Office watching the attack on television as
the assault on the Capitol occurred. We know, as you know well, that the briefing room at the White House is just a mere few steps from the Oval Office," Cheney, the vice chair of the committee, said on ABC News'
    "This Week."

She said that at any moment, Trump could have walked to the briefing
    room and appeared on television.

"We know, as he was sitting there in the dining room next to the Oval
Office, members of his staff were pleading with him to go on television,
to tell people to stop. We know Leader McCarthy was pleading with him to
do that," she said, referring to House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy,
    R-Calif.

"We know members of his family, we know his daughter — we have firsthand testimony that his daughter Ivanka went in at least twice to ask him to
please stop this violence," she said.

In a one-minute video released on social media hours after the attack
began, Trump repeated false claims about the election he lost while
encouraging the rioters, who attacked the Capitol during a joint session
of Congress to disrupt the counting of the electoral votes formalizing
Joe Biden's win, to "go home in peace."

"Go home. We love you. You're very special," Trump said.

He tweeted later, "These are the things and events that happen when a
sacred landslide election victory is so unceremoniously & viciously
stripped away from great patriots who have been badly & unfairly treated
    for so long.""

So, the fun part for me is that I think this answers the question
"Who will be the idiot's running mate in 2024 after he tried to get the
last one hung?" With Ivanka out of the running I think that only leaves
one person who the idiot thinks he can trust and who is dumb enough to
    do it. Don junior.

Yep, it could be the start of a royal dynasty. If I was those
boys I'd watch my back. Poor ol' Eric is obviously an idiot, who reminds
me of Fredo from the Godfather, while Junior would like to be, but is
obviously no Michael Corleone. OTOH the Queen is still hanging around,
with her own royal candidate. Barron. <not laughing> If they were half
smart the boys could learn something from European and Asian royal history.

These days I'm like a kid who has given up on trying to
keep track of the entire multi-ring circus. I'm just
watching for little gems. I'm enjoying this story arc
because I think it answered one of my little questions.
The media is saying the orange idiot threw Ivanka under
the bus. I think it's more like he has recognized that
she stepped off the crazy train. She says it happened
when Barr told her there was no stolen election. The
idiot says she checked out before the 6th.

"'Mar-a-Lago was not a happy place': Conservative says
Trump threw Ivanka under the bus after testimony"

"Ivanka Trump's testimony appears to have triggered an
    emotional outburst from her father.

Former president Donald Trump attacked his former
attorney general William Barr and apparently took a swipe
at his eldest daughter, as well, wrote The Bulwark
columnist Charlie Sykes, after their video testimony was
shown during the first public hearing of the House select
    committee.

"Mar-a-Lago was not a happy place last night," Sykes
wrote. Trump seemed especially triggered by Bill
Barr’s testimony, and lashed out on his
    'TruthSocial' platform."

"Bill Barr was a weak and frightened Attorney General who
was always being 'played' and threatened by the Democrats
and was scared stiff of being Impeached," Trump posted on
his Truth Social account. "How do you not get impeached?
Do nothing, or say nothing, especially about the
obviously RIGGED & STOLEN Election or, to put it another
way, THE CRIME OF THE CENTURY! The Democrats hit pay dirt
with Barr, he was stupid, ridiculously said there was no
problem with the Election, & they left him alone. It
worked for him, but not for our Country!"

The former president then threw Ivanka Trump under the
    bus, according to Sykes.

"Ivanka Trump was not involved in looking at, or
studying, Election results," Trump posted. "She had long
since checked out and was, in my opinion, only trying to
be respectful to Bill Barr and his position as Attorney
    General (he sucked!)"

Trump and his Republican allies are trying to
delegitimize the committee rather than refute its
findings, but Sykes said the House minority leader had
failed miserably by refusing to take part in the
    investigation.

"Kevin McCarthy is a dolt," Sykes wrote. "The refusal of
the Trump/GOP to participate in the committee meant that
they were shut out of last night’s
hearing. They had a chance to make their case, but chose
instead to sulk. As last night’s >>>>>> evidence unfolded, that decision looked more and more
like an act of supreme political malpractice."

The special committee sought to persuade a divided
country of the existence of a deep-rooted and ongoing
plot -- orchestrated by the former president -- to
overturn the result of the 2020 election won by Joe
    Biden.

"President Trump summoned the mob, assembled the mob and
lit the flame of this attack," the Republican vice chair
of the panel, Liz Cheney, said in her opening remarks at
the first in a series of hotly anticipated summer
    hearings.

Minutes earlier, Democratic committee chief Bennie
Thompson accused Trump of being "at the center of this
    conspiracy."

"January 6 was the culmination of an attempted coup -- a
brazen attempt, as one rioter put it shortly after
January 6 -- to overthrow the government. The violence
    was no accident."

Hmmmmm, all that talk about only hiring the best appears
to have been yet more BULLSHIT. Big surprise. And Ivanka
was still there right in the middle of it on the 6th,

"The House panel investigating the Jan. 6 riot has
testimony that then-President Donald Trump's daughter
Ivanka Trump asked him to intervene as his supporters
ransacked the U.S. Capitol, Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., said
    Sunday.

"The committee has firsthand testimony now that he was
sitting in the dining room next to the Oval Office
watching the attack on television as the assault on the
Capitol occurred. We know, as you know well, that the
briefing room at the White House is just a mere few steps
from the Oval Office," Cheney, the vice chair of the
committee, said on ABC News' "This Week."

She said that at any moment, Trump could have walked to
the briefing room and appeared on television.

"We know, as he was sitting there in the dining room next
to the Oval Office, members of his staff were pleading
with him to go on television, to tell people to stop. We
know Leader McCarthy was pleading with him to do that,"
she said, referring to House Minority Leader Kevin
    McCarthy, R-Calif.

"We know members of his family, we know his daughter
we have firsthand testimony that his
daughter Ivanka went in at least twice to ask him to
please stop this violence," she said.

In a one-minute video released on social media hours
after the attack began, Trump repeated false claims about
the election he lost while encouraging the rioters, who
attacked the Capitol during a joint session of Congress
to disrupt the counting of the electoral votes
formalizing Joe Biden's win, to "go home in peace."

"Go home. We love you. You're very special," Trump said.

He tweeted later, "These are the things and events that
happen when a sacred landslide election victory is so
unceremoniously & viciously stripped away from great
patriots who have been badly & unfairly treated for so
    long.""

So, the fun part for me is that I think this answers the
question "Who will be the idiot's running mate in 2024
after he tried to get the last one hung?" With Ivanka out
of the running I think that only leaves one person who
the idiot thinks he can trust and who is dumb enough to
    do it. Don junior.

elementary school, library, and two restaurant / bars....
Creston has no graveyard, or dump, so they are forced to deal

What? Do the outsiders get all worked up when you dump bodies and
