    I've read about that theory, but I haven't seen anymore rattlers around here than usual? Our place is in the Chaparral, so there's plenty of snakes, but most of the time they slither away, unnoticed before they're detected.....

    When I'm out "Herping" I do run across some snake turds, but my "guess-timation" may be inflated, due to my wishful thinking?
