Many years ago, around 50 years ago in fact, three workers came into my
office and informed me that they would not work with Leon any longer.

When I inquired why I was told that, "he's an arrogant, pompous, ass
hole". That was it. Not that he didn't do his job well, or that he was belligerent or treated them badly, or he stabbed them in the back, or
took credit for their work. None of that, he was just an arrogant ass
    hole.

Leon was very intelligent, had excellent situational awareness and was
fast. He was a self-starter and was very good at his job. I knew it -
and he knew that I knew it, and he wasn't above tooting his own horn.

I explained to them that they had no legitimate complaints of merit and
should just Come to grips with the fact that he is an ass hole, He
admits it - "I'm an ass hole". And once that they had came to grips
with that fact they shouldn't have any problems.

But they did, they insisted that they would not work with Leon any
longer. I called personnel we didn't have HR in those days - and them
to send someone over because I had three guys in my office that had just
    quit.

When they heard my call they started equivocating about quitting and I
agreed. "Okay, you didn't quit, but you've just been fired so you can
draw unemployment while you look for another job".

No doubt that Leon was a complete ass hole, but I would have loved to
had another half-dozen ass holes just like him.

That's the way I saw Trump no doubt he was a pompous ass hole but he
did things, and got results - good things and good results that I liked.
He wouldn't be my favorite pick, but if he is the nominee in 2024 he'll
    get my vote.

I don’t like or dislike any politician or anyone else I don’t personally know. That’s the problem with sycophants. If they like the public persona they agree with them no matter how stupid their ideas and actions are.

Unfortunately, too many people couldn’t separate Trump’s personality from his accomplishments. So… they shot themselves, and those of us with brains, in the foot.

The result? An incompetent fool with Marxist controllers dead set on
destroying the foundation of this country.

Spot-on, Jerry! I don't like him either. But what he did worked...and
a whole lot better than we're getting right now.

Take care and be well all,

I don’t like or dislike any politician or anyone else I don’t personally
know. That’s the problem with sycophants. If they like the public persona
they agree with them no matter how stupid their ideas and actions are.

Unfortunately, too many people couldn’t separate Trump’s personality from
his accomplishments. So… they shot themselves, and those of us with brains,
    in the foot.

The result? An incompetent fool with Marxist controllers dead set on destroying the foundation of this country.

You're worrying about the wrong thing, dude. At the end of the day
going forward, you should literally be more concerned about the
existential threat to democracy posed by bad photographs of
unexplained aerial phenomena. Pivot. Triangulate. Take nothing off the
table. Update your calculus to get more efficacious metrics. IOW, do
    the right thing.

So just go with the smoke and mirrors and blindly follow the goofocrats’ piper right into the sea? Not a chance. You know I can’t swim.

Well, you can stop at the high tide line, but you'll probably have to
    do the first parts.

Our country was founded by geniuses, but it's being run by idiots LIKE TRUMP

Glad to hear of your love affair with Biden and Harris, and I just know you won’t have any problem convincing the old and crusty snowflake, he believes anything whilst contemplating who and who not to hate in his slimy green trailer up in Whatcom
    County.
