Why do liberals fear free speech? Because they can't handle the truth.

Well Musk is autistic and that’s only one step below the cuckoo farm

The Left has a very warped idea of exactly what free speech means. Now
it seems to mean that it shouldn't be hurtful to the snowflakes. To them
speech can be violence because they are social hemophiliacs.

“Musk’s conception of free speech is people being able to express things
that are odious, hateful or even targeted harassment against other
users,” said Emerson Brooking, resident senior fellow at the Atlantic
Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab. “Twitter up until now has
drifted toward a different definition of free speech, this idea that by reducing harassment and overt hate you create an opening for as many as
voices as possible to express themselves.”

Hopefully, now Twitter will come back to center.

The night after Musk takeover, a congressional Twitter shake-up:
Republicans gain followers, Democrats lose them
Kevin Crowe and Jessica Guynn, USA TODAY

As word spread of Elon Musk’s $44 billion deal to take over Twitter,
prominent Republican lawmakers gained thousands of followers overnight,
while some key Democrats lost thousands.

Nearly three-quarters – 72% – of the Republican accounts gained Twitter followers in the 24-hour span from Monday midmorning to Tuesday morning, according to a USA TODAY analysis of the Twitter followings of the
official congressional accounts for 529 members of the House and Senate.

The biggest winners among GOP lawmakers were Jim Jordan, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Matt Gaetz, Kevin McCarthy, Marsha
    Blackburn and Lauren Boebert.

Almost all Democratic lawmakers – 268 of 270 accounts – lost followers.
The biggest losers were Nancy Pelosi, Elizabeth Warren, Adam Schiff,
Chuck Schumer and Maxine Waters, as well as independent Bernie Sanders.

If all it takes is Twitter for the flakes to switch sides, then the real question is how many flakes does it take to steal the election?

Guess that settles the matter, huh, Jerry? BTW, aren't those "winners", big time supporters of QAnon, too? One again, they'll be spinning frightening stories of child slavery pizza parlors, Jewish controlled laser beams from outer space, and
JFK Jr. sightings around the country... Ah, the thrill of it all!

For Republicans, Freedom of Speech means not needing proof, or even probability, for whatever hogwash they wish to spread, to unify their base, of conservative, superstitious, Christian believers, whose Holy Trinity, often includes Donald Trump...
Although he says he won't be back, since he'll be posting on TRUTH, we'll see? I suspect they need each other too much to part?

Que sera' sera? Since I never played on twitter, guess I'll miss the revelations this new freedom, Twitter will bring to conservative thought, as I'm oohing, & awing, new baby photos, meals, pet, and pix from the posters glory days, on Facebook.
    ...

May the Force be with you.....

I'm surprised that you have a little inkling of what free speech is all
    about.

The problem for the left is that they are too stupid to tell the
difference between a dog turd and a Baby Ruth candy bar - and then get
all whiney and upset when they bite into a turd.

It can be a real bitch to be a Low-Rez thinker. "They didn't tell me it
was a dog turd - they said it was a Baby Ruth - and I bit into it, and
    that's just not right!"

Fuck-em, their only use is to cast a Democratic vote and they need to be protected from Free Speech or they might become disillusioned and not
    vote as they are told.

One can wish. And, to be honest - for lot of the Low-Rez people who
thought Brandon was going to be their Baby Ruth have discovered Brandon
is a turd and has left a bad taste in their mouth - hence his glowing
    poll numbers.

Things are looking up. The rumor is that once Elon has Twitter under
control he is going to buy Coca-Cola and put the cocaine back. You can
take that to the bank, Don.

I assume this Republican worry about "Free Speech", is because many of the GOP stars now wish they could pull all those treasonous words back in their mouths during the Trump Insurrection? They seem to think that Elon can somehow help make it more
acceptable? Maybe he can be a new Wovoka, for Ghost Dancers, and bring back the good old days?

He's certainly an amazing man! HTF can somebody get that rich? He's like a modern day Leonardo Di Vinci! He's also as big a ham as Trump! It's troubling to see him mixed up in J. Depp & Amber's domestic woes, and squabbles, over a few chickenshit
millions, but I'll admit - Amber was lightyears above Stormy Daniels! He's certainly not just windbag, like YKW...

I suspect it won't be long until the usual suspects will be howling about what a RINO Musk was, all along... I sort of look forward to his adventures in celebrity... Perhaps he can even cure your worrisome dither over Brandon, too?

I think you've hit the most entertaining part of this story right
on the head. Among the many, not always consistent, things Musk says is
that he wants Twitter to be a neutral platform that doesn't favor
anyone. This might be a noble goal, but it's extremely unlikely that the
loons will see it that way long term. By this time next year I expect
that the loons will be telling us they would never even sit in a Tesla
vehicle. RINOs will seem like saints next to Musk.

If you have watched what happens when you try to make everyone
happy you know it never works out that way. BTDT

If even only a part of what Musk wants to do with Twitter is
accomplished I will be happy. However at the moment the Liberals have
broken out in a bad case of assholes and are shitting themselves over
their loss of being able to censor conservative voices on Twitter.
Therefore I'm already happy with what Musk has already accomplished.

Also, I was mistaken in thinking that you had a slight understanding of
freedom of speech - my bad. After your last post it is obvious that I
was giving you credit for much more reasoning power in understanding the concept of Free Speech than you possess - again - my bad. But hey, not

He's (Musk) certainly an amazing man! HTF can somebody get that rich?
He's like a modern day Leonardo Di Vinci!

You might want to check out the Matthew Effect and the Pareto Principle
also called the "80-20 rule" for an insight on how it happens. Musk is
very intelligent, however that is not enough. He has other necessary
traits - of which some are

Passion. He loves what he’s doing because he does what he loves. His
passion for his work is so intense that it fuels late-night shifts,
motivates 80-hour work weeks, and revolutionary ideas and results.

Persistence. He locks his gaze on to something and says, "it shall be
    mine". And makes it happen.

Focus. There are stories that in the beginning of Tesla, Musk would
sleep under his desk and work 80-hour weeks until a particular problem
was solved. He didn’t think about anything else, eliminated all
distractions, and focused on was the task at hand.

I read somewhere that the 80 to 90 (I forget the exact number)
wealthiest people in the world have more accumulated wealth than the
bottom two billion people and Musk is at the top - the wealthiest person
    in the world.
