I'm making this announcement for my biggest fan, who is likely to
be the only person other than myself who gives a damn. It takes about a
minute to change parties and there is a deadline for the various
elections. This does not mean that I endorse any political party or
their candidates. I don't like registering with any political party. It
just means that the most interesting political race in Oregon right now
is for the governorship. Whoever the retrumplicans run they will just be running for political theater and everyone knows it. So I expect a lot
of flags and noise, much like any other circus or tent revival. The
Democrat's nomination for governor is the only one that really matters.
After the nominations I can go back to being a RINO or whatever I feel
like. Maybe go back to being an Independent again. That would be nice.
There has been some talk of open primaries here. I think that would make
a lot of sense for everyone.
