hosted this year by the team and the nonprofit RAWtools.

I thought turning guns into garden tools was a particularly
humorous touch. They could probably raise more money if the turned
them into art and sold NFTs. It would be nice to have a throne made
out of guns for Halloween--and other special events. That probably
wouldn't be..........something or another enough for these folks. I
    dunno, maybe not "smurfy" enough?

How many of those guns came from the Crips, the Bloods, any drug dealer
or any other criminal enterprise or individual? This is one of the most idiotic things ever and the law abiding citizens turning them in are
    just as idiotic.

LOL SO WHAT? This is just the free enterprise system at work. No
one is forcing anyone to do anything. There are so few guns involved
that no one should care one way or the other. MY impression is that most
of the guns turned in at these buyback events are cheap junk and old
garbage to start with. If people are having fun why should anyone
complain? Are they hurting your "feelings"?

I wasn't complaining. I was opining. And as we all know, my opinion is
gospel. This is nothing more than a "feel good" effort. The Broncos can
do whatever they choose but it's just a meaningless, symbolic act. I
would like to see the crime statistics a couple of months from now.

LOL That's one of those things that you look at and wonder why
anyone needed a study to figure this out. I suppose someone has to study
it just to prove the obvious. According to the headlines there are more
guns in this country than people. You would have to have a REALLY REALLY HORRIBLY BAD understanding of math to think that buying a few thousand
guns here and there is going to make any real difference.
