    in 100,000 abd your chances of being a victim of violent crime are 1 in
    134. Outside of Portland the odds for Oregonians improve considerabley.
    The violent crime rate is 3.4 and you have a 1 in 292 chance of being
    the victim of a violent crime.

    This site gives Houston a crime rate of 11.35 per 100,000 and a 1 in
    88 chance of being a victim of violent crime. Outside of Houston the
    crime rate drops to 4.32 and you have a 1 in 232 chance of being the
    victim of a violent crime. That's still significantly worse than Oregon.

    Of course! Texas is full of imported democrat voters.
