lqtm, how pleasantly optimistic--or something. I think our governor
and her troops are just getting started. Millions? How quaint.

Well hey. The mayor of Portland said: ----------------------------------------------------------
"People are coming back to Portland. They?re having great experiences.
They?re telling people that things have really improved here in the city
of Portland. The Portland Winter Lights Festival will bring even more
people to Portland to see the great progress that we?ve made,? Mayor Ted Wheeler said"
    -----------------------------------------------------------
There's either a crisis or there's not. Which is it?

    I guess
you didn't understand what I said about property values. At this point
the legislature has committed $1.5 Billion to these problems. I think
that everyone understands that this is just a small down payment.

I guess I underestimated the savings by undeclaring the crisis. Saving
    billions is even better.

They're waiting for our experts to tell them how much money they have to spend before we start getting to bigger numbers.

I wasn't kidding when I said everyone expects to retire rich here
when they sell their home and "downsize". Between the whole gang
invested in Portland, we're talking serious money. I don't think there
are a lot of people who care about addicts dying. It's not even a big
number when compared to other stupid ways of dying. They do care about
    their personal funds--Big Time.

This is also BTW the heart of the homeless problem. If we allow
people to build a lot of cheap houses, it reduces the value of existing housing and you end up with a lot of poor people stinking up the place.
The politicians have to find a cheap way to put people in beds without reducing property values. The problem is so simple that I'm sure any
    internet genius can solve it.

If it's simple, then the governor and the mayor ought to be able to
solve it. But first, your leaders have got to make up their minds
about whether there is or isn't a crisis. Do you think there's a crisis?

Both Fakes News and the Light show are.......,hmmm.......... I think the
best word is probably propaganda. They are not exactly lies, but they
are far from a realistic picture. Basically the junkies and the
alcoholics just move to one side, sort of like the tide. Everyone just ignores them from a habit that began before any of us were born. Several
of our missions have been downtown since any of us were born. At you
might guess that both helps esplain the problem downtown and why the
nnatives are used to it. It's the crazies that you really have to watch
out for. They are all "unsightly" and having a netative effect on
    property values.

Any dweeb that knows *anything* about politics knows the governor _needs_ to put on her show.

I have already talked about justifications and how the fentanyl "crisis" campares to the many other stupid ways people find to die. None
of that matters. Everyone is expecting a good show. Win, lose, or draw,
I expect we will get our money's worth because it will be a good show.
If nothing else I expect our politicians will know a little bit more
about the problem when she's done.

This is nuthin'. During my lifetime and when I was old enough to understand it, Portland elected another known corrupt mayor, because corruption was considered good for business. Seriously, I don't need to
    make this stuff up.

Instead of all the pomposity, why not just answer yes or no? We all know
you like to show your ass with your attempts at wowing us with your
brilliance. Well let me tell you, it's not working. In my, according to
you, simple mind, I can recognize a question that only requires a yes or
no answer and not a dissertation. You blow more smoke than a volcanic
    eruption.

HawHawHaw! It was a straight forward simple question.

And yet still no real answer. You sure you’re not the governor of The

One of the many probelms with your trolls is that you assume everything is strictly black and white with simple yes or no answers.
The situation and my opinion isn't nearly that simple, even if you are.

More words than yes or no confuse poor old JohnGeorge. All them sewer
fumes damaged his ability to parse whole sentences.
