• GOA calls on FAA to take over flight mishaps

From Frank Howell@21:1/5 to All on Thu Dec 21 12:35:59 2023
Well that should go over well. What could go wrong?

Hey SpaceX, we have a new battery rocket that will save the planet, you
are ordered to implement at once.

From FAA:“Protecting public health and safety are at the core of the program.”

As for human spaceflight/tourism, the industry has been operating under
an eight-year “learning period,” where the FAA is restricted from
enacting regulations. The learning period is set to expire on Jan. 1.

I bet Elon Musk can't wait. He has so much respect for FAA. Maybe not.

Great. They've had eight years to come up with who knows how many new bureaucratic regulations.

still comes out a potato. Works the same with choosing your gender.
