I have stopped shopping in Walmart stores. I should have done it sooner. I guess I'm just a bit old fashioned. After trying a free month, I paid $100 for their Plus service. I've probably been spending at least that much on the gas to go back and
forth from their stores. The effect sort of feels like I'm living on the Starship Enterprise. Whatever I want will materialize at my front door very quickly. If I want to make it dematerialized that can happen very quickly too.

So far the service has been very accurate. They've only blown one delivery. For some unexplained reason I didn't get that one until early the next morning. If it made a difference I could have cancelled all together or changed the time slot for the
delivery. If you let them they will do a lot of texting as they're preparing it and send it out. You can get as much or a little of that as you want. It's all delivered in classic "shopping" bags with twisted paper handles, that have been around forever.

I almost never return food items because it's too much hassle. I got some pastry I didn't like. No problem. They refunded the item and I threw it in the trash. I wanted some peppermint patties that you can find in almost any store. My store was
out of stock, so they offered free same day shipping. I thought it was pretty damn silly to have $3 worth of stuff shipped. So I doubled the order. Someone drove to my house at left those peppermint patties at my door. If I decided to go in a Walmart
store for some strange reason I could use my phone to handle the whole transaction.

I use Amazon Prime a lot too, but I don't pay much for it. If I wait for it they will offer me a free month. The last time I had a free month it was like they were reading my mind. I was going into my account and I got a popup offering an
additional free month before I actually got into my account. Well sure. I can handle free. If I wanted something fast they'll sell me a week of Prime for $2. Most of the time I don't need anything that fast.

I have an unusual crab trap coming that I have never seen before. That one is coming from eBay. If I like it I will order more.
