Hi,
I apologize in advance for "invading" the newsgroup with what may seem
like a trivial question. But I'm not sure where else to turn.
Retailers with camping tents often display miniature scale models on
the shelves, presumably to save floor space. I imagine these scale
models are provided by the tent manufacturer. They don't seem to have
much use other than as a display demo.
For a personal project, I am trying to acquire one of these scale
model miniature tents. So far my efforts have been thwarted --
attempts to contact a tent manufacturer led simply to "we don't sell
them". I asked what retailers did with them when the model was retired
and was told "we don't know".
If anyone here as any advice or leads as to how I can get my hands on
one of the models, I would greatly appreciate it. I can't imagine they
have much value outside of display purposes.
thanks
Aaron
Check out
http://www.catcamp.co They have built their product on the concept that those miniature tents that are used as display replicas would be great cat beds/hideaways.
