A dear pal of many of ours, Megan Merker (wife of fiddler Ron Kane), is suffering from a very aggressive cancer. And she's already in a huge amount of debt from the treatments and needs to find money to pay for more in order to survive. She's reached

Ron & Meghan run a working sheep ranch in rural Montana, near Dillon. Both are amazing musicians and have done alot to keep old-time fiddling and traditional cowboy songs alive. Some of you may remember they were recently featured at the Portland Old-
Time Music Festival (2011, I believe).

Their goal is to make $30,000 - which is really a paltry sum when a wonderful person's life is at stake. Donate what you can please!
