Hello all! We have found a beautiful copy hiding in the Bluegrass section at our record store. Appreciate y'all posting all this helpful info here. We are trying to figure out what price to put on it, but mostly trying to figure out how to even bring
ourselves to sell it in the first place!

About 5 or 6 years ago, I obtained an LP from County Sales of 20
reissues of old time 78 rpm recordings featuring wonderful waltzes. It
was called "The Old Time Waltz 1927 - 1934." I had nearly forgotten
about it because I had lent it to a friend in Port Townsend, WA a couple years back, but I was able to retrieve it last week while up there for
the Festival of American Fiddle Tunes. Several friends of mine saw it
and wondered about its availability, so I said I'd ask in our
    informative newsgroup.

The reissue was produced by David L. Crisp of Breadalbane Australia. Do
any of our Australian correspondents know him? He's become a hero in my
eyes for issuing this disk and stating: "Remastered from original 78rpm
sound recordings held in the David L. Crisp collection. Great care has
been taken to preserve all the faults and surface noise in the
originals. This compilation is available only in LP format, for record collectors, anad is intended as a memorial to the demise of needle type records, deemed necessary by the record industry."
