"An evening of first rate original song featuring Sherry Ryan and Peter
Willie Youngtree.
Raised on a land fertile for songs and storytelling, Sherry Ryan has proven herself a gifted songwriter who's been releasing heart-stealing originals across each album. Drifting between country, blues and soul, Ryan beautifully marries these genres with a voice "so good-so distinct-it's absolutely unforgettable" (Exclaim Magazine)

Peter Willie Youngtree was raised in a family of Celtic folk musicians,
exposed to brilliant live music from the womb onward. A stint as a vagabond landed him in Nashville in 2009, where he was inspired by a vibrant music
scene to carve out a career as a songwriter and performer. Based in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Peter Willie blends old country, American folk, and pop; his introspective, sometimes philosophical songs are filled with hefty helpings of romantic poetry. He has toured eastern Canada playing festivals, clubs and cafes, as well as abroad, travelling as far as Ireland to perform.
He most recently played Lawnya Vawnya 6 in St. John's, sharing the stage with Zachary Lucky and Jennifer Castle, after 25 dates in eastern Canada in
support of his debut record "Country Hymns." The album, released in September 2015, has been called "one of the better, more interesting local albums of
the year" by The Overcast magazine and was nominated for the Borealis Music Prize. Youngtree hits the road again in June 2016 to play as far west as Ontario.
