    Lot of confusion (certainly in my head) as to dB/LUFS levels to be aiming at in final/mastered mixes.

    e.g. if you set -0.5 dB as your mix limit, a few true peak often register as +0.1/0.2 dB but (a) there' s no (audible) distortion and (b) veteran producers like Bob Katz bemoan having to provide mixes that have 3/4/5 dB of distortion in some/most/all
    modern pop mixes, which most certainly is audible.

    I'll settle for the occasional 0dB breach, otherwise mixes sound wimpy, as the LUFS era is still some way off, so we're very much still in the loudness war-zone.
