    And likewise the Lazy are also less inclined if even at all, to visit inspiration, because it's a two way street and a *serious* writer should endeavor to at least meet inspiration half way ;)

    I know when I'm writing songs, I don't wait for inspiration to visit me, although it has on several occasions, but mostly, I go looking for
    inspiration, and it's usually not all that difficult to find...IF one is
    really serious about it!

    Coincidentally, I went to a concert last Wednesday where they played his
    "Romeo & Juliet". It struck me that writing for an orchestra must be one
    hell of a job.

    Tchaikovsky was one of those creatives who successfully married Art & Entertainment.

    Writing for an orchestra *was* one hell of a job. You had to do it in your head. These days, you've got Cubase etc to try ideas out.
