• TeXas Video Showdown, worst video ever made in protest, gets 100 more

From Tom Hendricks@21:1/5 to All on Tue Aug 23 07:45:01 2016
The TeXas Video Showdown, worst video ever made, has passed another 100 hits. Goal: The music revolt coming out of Dallas is against the 3 CEO's that run the entire music business, only support teen pop, and haven't allowed the music to change in 20 years.
The revolt is for the thousands of fine musicians trying something - anything new and creative and being blocked at every turn by an industry that has jumped the shark. TeXas Video Showdown.

Virtually every talented musician is out of a career, been marginalized, and had their lives ruined by this. We can't turn our backs to this mess anymore than we can turn away from any massive injustice.
The arts count too. When was the last time you heard a protest song on mainstream radio? So musicians have been silenced in every way unless you are generic teen pop.
This is no time for a head in the sand response. Save music, and you save a lot more than that.

In Patriot circles, we referred to a "Media Bypass", and there was even a magazine by that name. It simply means going Truly Independent and
getting material worth hearing to those waiting to hear it.

And along with keeping the creative and innovative Tradition of Music
going, I also keep the protest song tradition going too, with such tunes
    as:

How Did We Get In Here?
    When I Look
    Taking It Back
    Departure
    Why Are You Asking Me?
Slay The Monster (Living Without Fear)
    One-Sided Nothing
    Going The Distance
    Paradigm Return
    I'm Not The One
    I Wanna Know Why

And there'll be more to come!
