    Nat Narayan by Pt Jasraj ( sampurn Khamaj th )

    He often uses RmPD which reminds me of Gorakh Kalyan . I don´t hear SR RG Gm P , the Nat sangati which is included in swargang´s pakad . They also use dvi-Ni .... I speculate that they want to pass it off as a Nat prakar : Maybe it is , but I don´t
    get it .

    Nat Narayani by Salamat - Sharafat ( rhythmic tarana at the end ) . He says that ma is the vadi .
    That would be Ocean´s NataNarayani ( type 2 - shadav ) . However Gadre says that it is similar to Madhmad Sarang ...

    To me it sounds closer to Gorakh Kl than to Narayani . The first phrase gives me an abhas of Gavati / Megh though .
    For that matter Ocean lists 10 more scale-congruent ragas like Hindol Sarang , Samant Malhar ....

    Btw , at Ocean NataNarayani ( type 1 ) is described as being similar to Jhinjhoti and Narayani . He says that Nata Narayan / BrihanNata is just another name for it . Fittingly , he uses the above mentioned audio by Pt Jasraj .
