As the subject line says, what exactly is a Sakh? i.e Devsakh, Ramsakh, Bhavsakh, Lacchasakh

I've heard of two other sakh's like "Nishasakh" and "Hanumatsakh" along with a now lost "Gunsakh".

Is there a specific raagang Sakh? Does Sakh tell us something about the conception? Or is it just a name similar to how Malashree, Bageshree and JaitShree end in shree but don't really share anything in common?

The Ramsakh of Jaipur is very different from the Ramsakh of Patiala
