    Hello Manu,

Have you managed to create the notation writing software? It is much awaited, please let me know. Also if not already completed by you, is there any other program available on the net?

    Thanks,

This thread seems a bit old, but if you guys are interested, I am currently working on such a tool. You can see the progress here and can register for beta test if you wish.

    Hi Terence,

I wanted to download the English font as I'm writing a book on Indian Classical Music. But the Download button is not working, it shows a fatal errror "unable to connect to database". Will it be possible for you to reupload the fonts or mail it to me
    directly?

    Thanks
    Arunima

    Hi all,

Another tool that you might useful for writing notations: Swara Notebook (https://swaranotebook.com).

Its a mobile-friendly web editor to write Hindustani notations in Bhatkhande format.

One can choose the Taala and it will automatically format the Taal Bhaag/ Sam / Khaali. It also supports selecting Ragas. For example, if one chooses Bhoop, only Swaras in Raga Bhoop will be displayed on the keyboard.

I'm the author of this tool and happy to answer any questions about the same. Hope you find it useful

    Thanks

Is it possible to encode Indian classical notation into MIDI and MusicXML?
Vice versa, Could a MIDI or a MusicXML file be rendered in Bhatkhande system? Regards.

    Hello All
I'm a software developer by profession and a music enthusiast. I'm
thinking of writing a software for creating sargam notation similar to
the way we write on paper but using a computer.
I want it to be a free tool that anyone can use and email/share tunes, bandishes etc, or save them to their computer or print them. I also
want it to have the capability to be exported as a MIDI file or a
music file so that one can hear what the notes will sound like.
The software will be able to print in either devanagari or latin
script, it will support Bhatkhande notation and Vishnu Digambar
notation or any other notation style that is popular.
I have tried to describe my idea on my site at the following url. http://knowyourraga.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=174
I would like to hear everyone's views if they think this could be
useful or if you have any suggestions or comments please let me know.
I would like to add that I've never had the chance to learn classical
music formally so I'm learning and exploring alongside and I would
hope that I will get help from this great community when I get stuck
    with something :)
Wishing everyone one a melodious year ahead.
    Manu

    Thank You Ramakant,
I have been trying out your Swar Notebook tool. It's terrific.
For the past 8 months or so I have been helping my fellow senior music lovers online with Vocal coaching on a voluntary basis.
This tool makes my life preparing the Vocal Riyaz lesson notations for online lessons really easy.
I would love to learn how I can share these lessons with the group so they can use them to practice. Most do not possess a harmonium or keyboard.
Love to hear back from you. 🙏🙏
