• Miya ki Malhar bandish

From Damayanti Gupta@21:1/5 to All on Fri Jul 9 08:08:25 2021
    Hi all
It's raining in Boston, time to bring out all the variations of Malhar.

So there is this bandish - 'Sawan Ki Raina Adhuri' or the like in Miyan Ki Malhar. Is anyone here aware of this ? Anyone know of any recordings?

The last word may not be 'Adhuri', but it does begin with A.

    Many thanks
    Damayanti

I don't know where I heard it, just that it has stayed with me. It goes

    'Sawan ki raina adhuri..
    Bijali chamke...
    Jiya ra aur..'
