"Pradeepaki")? Could you share any information on "Pradeepaki"

Latafat Hussein Khan's Patdeepaki and Bhimsen's 'somewhat
idiosyncratic version' of it can be heard off the sawf music library :http://www.sawf.org/library/, Hindustani Stacks link. A brief
explanation of the raag can be found elsewhere in the sawf archives.

The Bhimsen recording is from his ToI Sesquicentennial Celebrations mehfil under 'Rare Raagas' theme in Mumbai in 1988. He also sang Marwa- thaat Gauri in the same mehfil. The mehfil recording is available with several collectors among the usual suspects.

Pradeepaki/Patdeepaki is a Kafi-thaat raga, strikingly similar with
    Barwa (M-g-R n*-D*), and Desi (R-g S-R n*-S), and also glimpses of
Maluha become visible. These things are clearly demonstrated in LHK's rendering and of course not in BJ's.

The said unnamed raga is possibly Ram Gouri, an easy identifier of
which can be a (not-so-perfect) cocktail of Ramkali and Gouri. Another instance of the raga could be found in Khadim Hussain Khan's rendering

Thank you for the samples. I will listen and see what I can make out
    of them.
Could you also talk about the variations the different versions of
    Gauri
(Shubhra, Khapra, Ram, ... )? That would be great.
Aside: What is the exact difference between Kedar and Chandni-Kedar?

Batukbhai also wrote prolifically in Gujarati/ reviews and features for newspapers and magazines...and he also has several books to his credit. He gave me scores upon scores of bandishes from his vast collection... We also made digital-archival
recordings of interviews and lecture-demonstrations for All India Radio, Mumbai, with several master artists where of course he was the senior partner. He had learnt/ got superb talim from several renowned ustads and gurus, including Vilayat Hussain
Khan, Pranpiya, Siddheshwari Devi, Rasloon Bai, Afta Hussain Khan, Khadim Hussain Khan (Sajan Piya) and also from masters of Pushti Marg Sangit ...
