I think the songwriter Regina Gently is from Toronto.
Kelly McMichael is I think originally from Ontario but has lived
in Newfoundland for a while now, though she was supposed
to go on an extended tour as part of Sarah Harmer’s band
before the pandemic struck. She regular performs at one
of my favourite live music venues, The Black Sheep on
George Street.
