You're not wrong. Those Amazon "reviews" were the epitome of hack work. This isn't an excuse at all but at the time, I was more or less freelancing fulltime and taking any gigs I could get. Amazon didn't want actual *critical* reviews - they were trying
to sell albums after all - they just wanted something descriptive that could accompany the listing. That said, if you think this is bad, some of the glorified ad copy I wrote for iTunes around the same time makes those Amazon reviews look like Pulitzer
