    You may not be interested any longer, but I just came across your post. Ken Dooley was a retired gentleman that lived somewhere just past Cincinnati, OH. He handmade these guitars, using whatever he had to hand - pieces of car bumpers, etc. As I
    recall, the pickups were wound with coils from car engines, and there was something about the fret bars that I can't quite recall. My husband used to love to go talk to him, and he bought several of his guitars over time. I think Ken sold them for
    maybe $125? It's been over 25 years ago, so I can't remember for sure. I still have one, which I pulled out of the closet today for the first time in years. I wondered if anyone else had any, which is where I came across your post.
